Medical Administrative Assistant Location: Office-based Business Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Patriot is veteran owned and family operated Why Patriot? We value our families and community: · Paid time off · Hardship Program – support for staff during challenging times · Patriot Cares – nonprofit for community outreach How we support you professionally: · Competitive hourly pay · Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance/Supplemental insurance (begins immediately upon hire) · Company 401K with 4% company matching The responsibilities of our Administrative Medical Assistant include: · Answer incoming calls from patients, families, and referral sources · Greet visitors and manage front desk · Assist with scheduling tasks/patient visits for clinical staff · Coordinate schedules and communicate updates to field staff · Process mail, faxes, and electronic documents · Maintain organized patient and clinical files · Assist with data entry and documentation in EMR systems · Support billing processes including scanning invoices and reconciling visit logs · Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and company policies · Prepare meetings, manage equipment and support projects · All other duties as assigned Qualifications: · High school diploma or GED · 1+ year of medical office, admin or scheduling experience · Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills · Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment · Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems · Prior home health or healthcare experience preferred · Familiarity with EMR systems preferred Job Conditions: · Ability to sit for extended periods · Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs · Frequent use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment Patriot at Home is an equal opportunity employer

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of medical office, admin or scheduling experience
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
