As a Medicaid Enrollment Specialist, youll bring attention to detail, organization, and consistency to every step of the enrollment process. Youll manage the back-end Medicaid application process, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time so participants can receive the care they need.   • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive and review Medicaid application packets from the Participant Enrollment Specialist.
  • Request, collect, and verify required medical and financial documentation.
  • Ensure all application materials are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Track application status and follow up with county offices and external agencies.
  • Identify and communicate any barriers or delays in the application process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and updates in CRM and EMR systems.
  • Collaborate with enrollment, intake, and interdisciplinary teams to support Participants.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Track progress toward goals and maintain key performance indicators.
  • Follow up on pending applications after enrollment until verification is complete.
  • Provide support to participants and families throughout the process.
