MEDIA STRATEGY MANAGER // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH JOB OBJECTIVES Oversees the Media team’s strategy, operations and development, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation and collaboration Actively engages in the creative process by guiding brainstorming, providing feedback and shaping high-impact projects like videos, sermon-series branding and church-wide initiatives Champions forward-thinking strategies and measurable outcomes to ensure the church’s creative content connects with and inspires its audiences Directs and manages the time and work of others, with responsibility for personnel decisions (although approval by next level management may be required) Serves on the Creative Arts Lead Team Reports to the Creative Arts Pastor ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Partners with the Creative Arts Pastor to shape and implement the vision for creative media and branding across all ministries Participates in brainstorming, ideation and feedback for key creative projects, with a focus on video content Provides vision, direction and constructive input to ensure videos and other creative assets align with the church’s standards of excellence and mission Oversees annual strategy planning, sets objectives, manages budgets and establishes standards to achieve creative and organizational goals Hires, leads and inspires the Media team through individual coaching, team development and ongoing feedback to foster growth, collaboration and innovation Works closely with the Creative Arts team, ministry leaders and campus teams to align creative strategies with the church’s mission and goals Provides creative leadership for major church-wide initiatives such as holiday services, sermon-series branding, large events and outreach campaigns Leads, develops and manages Media team leads Partners with the Creative Arts Pastor to ensure effective budget oversight in media areas OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Occasionally steps in to assist with projects, such as scriptwriting, concept development and video creation during high-demand seasons Helps plan team-building activities, creative retreats and other celebrations to encourage team morale and connection Provides informal feedback or consultation for creative needs in other church ministries or departments outside the Creative team’s scope Researches tools, software and creative ideas that could enhance the team’s work and share insights as opportunities arise Provides temporary leadership and support in the absence of key team members during transitions, vacations and unexpected situations Other duties as assigned
