About The Position

Our roster has an opening with your name on it We are currently looking for an experienced Media Manager to support our Digital Partnerships & Programmatic function. The role will be responsible for managing key channels & relationships for the business across digital channels delivering key results against the businesses’ core KPIs with a main focus on driving user acquisition to the FanDuel Predicts and Flywheel products. The ideal candidate will be an expert in digital media & have management experience, ideally with in-house media functions in high-paced, dynamic environments for industry leading brands. We’re looking for a team player who is comfortable working with data and analytics and is interested in building their career in media buying and has an ear to the ground when it comes to emerging best practices and market trends. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience managing and executing programmatic campaigns
  • 2+ years of managerial experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing role at either an agency or on the operator side
  • Proficiency with DSPs such as DV360, TTD, Yahoo, Amazon Ad Platform, or other comparable DSPs a plus
  • Meaningful experience working with performance marketing and media metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV) and understanding of the utilization and relationship between them
  • Solid knowledge of ad-serving, tracking systems, ad management platforms & MMPs
  • Experience negotiating favorable rates and deal structures with advertising partners
  • Strong analytical / reporting skills with the ability to make data-justified business decisions (a high level of proficiency in the use of MS Excel required).
  • Strong knowledge of the marketing landscape
  • Strong understanding of marketing testing and reporting methodology
  • Ability to succinctly communicate both verbally and in writing, and provide clear direction on projects
  • You should be a strong team player with the ability to foster good working relationships.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, project management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Knowledge or understanding of the business and culture of sports and gaming preferred
  • Experience working across multiple businesses within a larger corporate structure is preferred
  • Continually challenge norms in the business to persistently drive growth in digital media & ensure FanDuel continues to play at the forefront of media opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Implement the strategy, execution and optimization of respective programs within the digital partnerships and programmatic function
  • Develop & embed a digital strategy across the product portfolio, continually advising on investment recommendations & growth opportunities.
  • Manage campaigns across various DSPs, focusing on planning, setup, optimization and reporting across display, video, CTV/OTT and audio.
  • Provide continuous assessment of our digital media tactics across programmatic and direct partners and identify areas for improvement and optimizations
  • Daily management and optimization of ad formats, audience targeting, supply optimization PMP deals, reach & frequency, etc.
  • Make thoughtful recommendations to key stakeholders to improve the performance of respective programs
  • Own and build strong relationships with external partners. Work closely with them to evaluate media opportunities and optimize channels that will achieve FanDuel’s business and marketing objectives
  • Introduce innovative opportunities both through existing relationships & new initiatives.
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams, creative partners, and agencies to ensure the seamless launch and execution of all campaigns.
  • Work cross-functionally with members of the organization across the Marketing organization to build and manage a best in class Media and Marketing practice
  • Improve internal processes for digital media campaign management, including streamlining creative and tag trafficking to multiple partners, QAing campaigns and optimizing workflows
  • Mentor and/or manage junior members of the team to foster an environment that encourages intelligent risk taking, innovation and creativity
