About The Position
Join WVVA, a Gray Local Media station in Bluefield, WV, as a Media Executive. We’re seeking a motivated, competitive, and goal-driven sales professional who excels at building relationships and delivering strategic multimedia marketing solutions. In this position, you will be part of a high-performing team that values training, development, and the latest sales and research technology. We invest in our people — providing training across TV sales, digital solutions, and new business development to help you grow and succeed. As a Media Executive, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, craft compelling advertising solutions, and guide clients through campaign implementation to help them grow. This is a customer-focused outside sales role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and confident presentation ability.
- Proven customer service orientation and self-starter mentality.
- Comfortable with technology and basic computer applications.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a motor vehicle records check.
Nice To Haves
- Outside sales experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative, results-driven advertising and multimedia marketing campaigns for local businesses.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new local and digital advertising accounts.
- Present integrated media plans and solutions tailored to client goals.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and participate fully in Gray Media's training programs.
- Maintain accurate client records and achieve sales targets.
