About The Position

Are you interested in learning more about the media marketing industry while working in a collaborative, fast-paced setting? If so, you could be a perfect fit for our team! AE Media is seeking a Media Buying Intern to join its growing team. As a Media Buying Intern, you will find yourself in the middle of a fast-paced environment, assisting the AE Media Buying Team with a variety of projects for Advisors Excel and its clients. These projects vary widely in size and type, so flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills are paramount to this position.

Requirements

High school diploma
Interest in marketing campaigns and measuring results through data
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with exceptional time management skills
Ability to work independently, but also as a collaborative team member
Consistently available for 20 to 25 hours per week for the duration of the internship

Nice To Haves

Pursuing a college degree in Communications, Mass Media, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or other relevant degree.
Interest in marketing, budgeting, media buying/selling, and advertising
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

Communicate with TV and radio stations to gather information for potential new media campaigns
Help maintain behind-the-scenes systems that are integral to the success of our media campaigns
Assist leadership with maintaining weekly reports
Data entry- This includes but is not limited to collecting & scrubbing raw data, checking the accuracy of files and making edits as needed
Perform other duties as needed, adapting to the ever-evolving needs of our team
