About The Position

Cache Valley Assisted Living is looking for compassionate, fun, energetic individuals to join our caregiving team! We are hiring both CNA's and Med Techs for part time and full time positions. Noc shift 11pm-7am Benefits: Flexible schedules Opportunities for advancement Fun and rewarding environment Shift Differential for NOC and Weekend Shifts Exceptional management who truly care about their residents and staff Our "WOW" culture Paid Time Off We all love what we do Health, Dental, and Vision available for all full time employees Full staff in all of our buildings (housekeeping, dietary, activities, etc) so you can focus on being a caregiver We have the best residents Responsibilities: Our Caregivers are responsible for caring for our elderly residents, assisting them in all cares of daily living (ADLs), documenting and notifying RCC and nurse of any changes or concerns in our residents' condition, as well as all duties given them as assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills
  • Self-Starter and able to work independently
  • CNA Certification preferred, but not required
  • Ask us about the possibility of getting your CNA certification while working here!
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
  • High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
  • Experience as CNA/Med Tech.
  • Good communication skills, such as being able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals. Including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
  • Possess a love for the elderly
  • Have a positive and compassionate attitude
  • A background check is required for this position upon hire as well as food handlers permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test.
  • Pursuant to the State of Utah rules and regulations governing assisted living communities we are not allowed to hire any person who has been convicted of a fellony or who is awaiting trial for a felony, a misdemeanor charge, or had a substantiated finding of abuse that would preclude them from working in our community. A background check will be run upon hire.
