About The Position

We are currently hiring for a Med Tech for a part-time position in our assisted living community, Friday& Saturday nights, 10pm-6am. As a caregiver, your primary responsibilities will include caring for our elderly residents by assisting them in all activities of daily living (ADLs). You will be required to document and notify the Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) and nurse of any changes or concerns regarding the residents' conditions. Other duties will be assigned by the Administrator or RCC. To be considered for this role, you should possess basic computer skills, be a self-starter capable of working independently, and ideally have CNA certification, although it is not required. We also offer the possibility of obtaining your CNA certification while working with us. The ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively is crucial. You should have a high tolerance for working under pressure and managing critical situations calmly. Experience as a CNA or Med Tech is preferred. Good communication skills are essential, including the ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals, and to convey sensitive information with empathy. A positive and compassionate attitude and a genuine love for the elderly are important traits for this position. A food handler's permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test are required upon hire. If you are under 18, please let us know if you are currently enrolled in a CNA course. While caregiving experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Pursuant to the State of Utah rules and regulations governing assisted living facilities we are not allowed to hire any person who cannot pass a criminal background check due to past felonies.
