Med/Surg LPN - Part-time Days
About The Position
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical-surgical and emergency patients ensuring safe, quality and continuity of care is maintained under the supervision of the charge nurse. Care of all types of patients on assigned unit, while maintaining professional nursing standards. HOURS: Part-time, 60 hours per pay period, five 12-hour shifts per pay period. Day shift 6:15 am –6:45 pm., every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and must be currently licensed in the state of Iowa. Must have good computer skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions. Must be able to frequently lift over 60 pounds. Must be able to have good visual and auditory skills.
