Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering a variety of services for patients of all ages in the Cushing, Oklahoma area. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. In 2025, the hospital will add inpatient behavioral health services.

Requirements

Valid LPN Oklahoma license
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
CPI
N-95 fit test (yearly)
Less than 1 year experience

Responsibilities

Under the supervision or direction of a Registered Nurse, the LPN provides patient care specific to the age of the patient.
Demonstrates the appropriate skills and ability, based on scope of practice, level of training and/or licensure, to assess, treat, and/or care for patients.
Care is provided through utilization of the nursing process, by leadership to provide direction of other non-licensed nursing service personnel and by working collaboratively with other members of the health care team.
