About The Position
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital, located in Tarboro, NC, are seeking a BE/BC Med-Peds physician to join their Hospitalist program. Not open to J-1 visa or H-1b candidates. Job Highlights include: Employment by ECU Health Physicians Growing 9-hosptial healthcare system Hospital privileges at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital Clinical responsibilities will include: Level II nursery and well newborn nursery, daily rounding, admissions, discharges, vent management and intubation, central line placement and thoracentesis 7 on 7 off Schedule -7a-7p with 2/ 7p-7a shifts every other week ICU is covered by pulmonary critical care physicians from 8-5pm, and covered by hospitalist team nights and weekends Established team of 6 hospitalist Average 15-20 patients Competitive Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits ECU Health Physicians includes an academic practice model (ECU employment) and a community practice model (health system employment).
