ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital, located in Tarboro, NC, are seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physician to join their Hospitalist program. Job Highlights Include: Employment by ECU Health Physicians Growing 9-hosptial healthcare system Hospital privileges at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital 7 on 7 off Schedule -7a-7p with 2/ 7p-7a shifts every other week Clinical responsibilities will include: Level II nursery, well newborn nursery, daily rounding, central line placement, thoracentesis, admissions, discharges, vent management and intubation Full spectrum of specialty care support including General Cardiology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, General Surgery, Urology, Infectious Disease, Tele-Neurology, Pulmonology/Critical Care, and Tele-Psychiatry 8 bed open ICU is covered by pulmonary critical care physicians from 8-5pm, and covered by hospitalist team nights and weekends Established team of 6 hospitalist Anticipated Volume is 10-12 patients Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to ECU Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC System-wide integrated EMR—EPIC With an easy commute to Greenville, Wilson, Raleigh, and surrounding areas, this opportunity provides applicants with a variety of living options.
