About The Position

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus Hospitalist Division is looking for dedicated Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN providers to join the team. Inova Fairfax is rated as the best hospital in Virginia but U.S. News & World Report for 2024-2025. Sign on bonus eligible.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Osteopathic degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Successful completion of an ACGME physician Internal Medicine residency program
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia and Virginia DEA
• Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of experience in hospital medicine

Responsibilities

• The Hospitalist will provide direct hands-on care to patients within the limits of credentials granted by the Medical Staff of Inova in recognition of advanced training and experience in this field
• Additionally, they will adhere to patient care and admission criteria policies and procedures of the Department of Medicine.
