About The Position

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Osteopathic degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Successful completion of an ACGME physician Internal Medicine residency program
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia and Virginia DEA
• Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors
• Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of experience in hospital medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hands-on care to patients within the limits of credentials granted by the Medical Staff of Inova
• Adhere to patient care and admission criteria policies and procedures of the Department of Medicine
