This position is Part-Time Swing/NOC Weekend Shift: Saturday and Sunday 5 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. A little about US Mennonite Village is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that has been serving the Mid-Willamette Valley for over 78 years. As a Med Aide/Team Leader at Mennonite Village, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. You will deliver routine medications with precision, adhering to the five rights of medication administration: the right drug, dose, route, patient, and time. Alongside monitoring residents for any adverse drug reactions and changes in health status, you'll collaborate closely with licensed nurses to report any concerns. Your day will be dynamic, from managing medication documentation and coordinating medical appointments to assigning caregiver tasks and assisting with daily living activities. With direct engagement in resident care, you'll foster relationships with residents and their families, all while juggling phone communications and supporting dietary and housekeeping needs. This role is not just about medications; it's about fostering a compassionate, safe environment while leading a dedicated team to provide exceptional senior care.
