Requirements

3–5+ years of maintenance experience in military or industrial settings, ideally within complex manufacturing environments
Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical & electrical)
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with a team and perform physical tasks
Requires successful completion of pre-employment skills assessments

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000
Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate in Mechatronics or related field

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and monitor electrical and mechanical automated systems
Complete accurate, timely, and thorough job documentation
Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams
Maintain continuous system operation and respond to machine alarms
Collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams
Cross-train peers and update system manuals
Serve as Hershey Maintenance representative on the production floor
Propose and implement corrective actions and continuous improvements
Utilize SAP for maintenance tasks and documentation
