Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager who will be dedicated to Project Parcel 5 – a landmark Laminated Timber construction project. This individual will oversee and coordinate all mechanical scopes associated with this project, ensuring execution is completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex mechanical systems within a large-scale, highly coordinated construction environment. Regular site presence will be required to support field teams and maintain alignment with project milestones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management.
  • Proven experience managing complex commercial mechanical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and construction technology platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within high-profile or architecturally unique builds (mass timber or similar experience preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead all mechanical construction activities for Project Parcel 5, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate closely with the General Contractor, ownership group, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage budgeting, cost controls, forecasting, and schedule adherence.
  • Conduct frequent site visits and walkthroughs to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and VMG standards.
  • Identify, mitigate, and proactively manage project risks.
  • Drive strong communication between field operations and executive leadership.
