Requirements

  • SAP experience highly preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Mechanical Planning
  • Must be able to utilize Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Background check required.
  • Minimum four (4) years to five (5) years of field experience and/or education in construction technology
  • Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Post offer drug screen and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Group, LLC. Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace

Responsibilities

  • Prepares complete estimates for assigned project(s) and determines project plans and specifications.
  • Reviews and incorporates historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures
  • Estimates worker-hours and materials required to complete the job
  • Reviews specifications, drawings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
  • Prepares estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work
  • Maintains files of working documents and back-up for estimate figures
  • Follows contracts as assigned - may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits, procuring material, etc.
  • Performs additional assignments as required
