About The Position

YOUR TASKS Analyze workflows to identify improvement areas in the process. Then, drive change initiatives utilizing cross-functional team collaboration and lean manufacturing principles to effect lasting process advancements. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Analyze workflows to identify improvement areas in the process Drive change initiatives utilizing cross-functional team collaboration and lean manufacturing principles to effect lasting process advancements Develop and upkeep aids such as process alerts, work instructions, and one-point lessons Identify process problems and own their resolutions to increase production output, including root cause analysis and data reporting to department Analyze capital expenditures and project designs to find cost cutting and investment driving solutions, including for new equipment to ensure proper release Identify areas for quality improvement in the process and collaborate to find solutions that drive down scrap in the area Must have continuous improvement experience Ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others Other duties as assigned NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed. THE ENVIRONMENT Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as steel toes and ear plugs. The job is within a climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with training provided

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related Technical field
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Must have continuous improvement experience

Nice To Haves

  • 2 plus years experience in Tire manufacturing
