About The Position

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role helps minimize production downtime and supports the overall reliability of machinery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanical maintenance technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and hydraulics.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in mechanical maintenance processes.
