Division Steel Dynamics Responsibilities Rotating shift work including nights and weekends Welding, Cutting, and Fabrication Maintain all Mechanical Systems related to the Rolling Process Troubleshoot and repair of High Pressure Hydraulic Systems Rigging, Crane, and Mobile Equipment operation Read and interpret Blue Prints and Piping Diagrams Work with Operations/Maintenance groups to ensure continued production Work with computer based Maintenance Systems Qualifications Safety Oriented High School Diploma or equivalent Prior Mechanical Maintenance experience in some or all of the following areas: Welding & Fabricating, Industrial Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Manual & Automatic Lubrication Systems, Water Systems, Pipe Fitting, Rigging, Bearing & Coupling replacement, Ability to read prints and schematics Strong willingness to learn Understanding of Physics (Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow, Force and Power Transmission) Understanding of Mathematics (Geometry, Trigonometry) Willing to work Scheduled and Non-scheduled overtime Strong Teamwork Focus Ability to work without direct supervision Ability to multi-task & prioritize assignments with production needs Preferred At least 2 years of Mechanical Maintenance Experience Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
