About The Position

Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Maintain steam, water and chemical process equipment for an Industrial Utilities plant. Installation and/or modification of processing equipment as well as the repair and troubleshooting of auxiliary equipment associated with all processing equipment and other facility equipment. Assist in promoting safety and organization in the maintenance dept. Continues review and updating of Work Instructions Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Recommended preventative maintenance intervals based on repair data using Maximo. Responsible for the execution of the Preventative Maintenance Program and the Monitoring and Measuring Devices Program. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Recommended spare parts inventory levels Be able to write Purchase Requisitions for needed parts Be able to perform all component rebuilds and calibrations. Understand and follow the process flow within processing equipment . Understand and perform valid leak checks Follow all work instructions and safety protocol Organize and sort information using available computer software. Successfully complete all assigned training Actively participate in the site's emergency response (ER), safety policies and follow local, state and federal environmental regulations ____________________ Are you a MATCH?

Requirements

  • Small crane operations, certifications preferred.
  • Strong Mechanical skills, certifications preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders
  • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
