About The Position

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $22.00 - $38.00 per/hour, and your actual base pay knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location. Requirements

  • Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic components as well as read schematics in various departments.
  • May be required to lift in excess of 40 lbs. at times.
  • Has general understanding of plant power and utility layouts.
  • Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
  • Work experience pertaining to electrical field of 1 year or greater.
  • Ability to use multimeters and electronic test equipment, read schematics and diagrams.
  • Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions)

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and general maintenance tasks, including PMs on equipment per area assigned.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Supervisors.
  • Assist other team members in completing work orders/task per maintenance schedule.
  • May be part of the Emergency Response team.
  • Diagnose and perform repairs, calibrations on electromechanical and solid state of the art equipment.
  • Adhere to all NEC code regulations accordingly.
  • Morning bench scale repairs
