About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our production and facility operations. In this role, you will assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and moving a wide range of production machinery, facility systems, and support equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety‑focused, and committed to keeping production running efficiently and safely. Shift: Third Shift - 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Rotating Schedule 4 on 4 off)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Forklift Operator license or ability to obtain one through company training.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is a required.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, production specifications, and safety instructions.
  • Associate/Technical degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Instrumentation or Technology.
  • Two (2) years of equipment maintenance troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing, industrial or military environment.
  • Experience with coating, laminating, converting or extrusion equipment.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and building infrastructure at a journeyman level.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to plan, document, and improve maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment such as pneumatic/hydraulic systems, motors, pumps, conveyors, furnaces, chillers, boilers, extruders, chemical distribution systems, thermal oxidizers, PLCs, automated vehicles, and other production machinery.
  • Use aerial lifts, rigging equipment, and hoists; perform hoist inspections and basic maintenance.
  • Conduct preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including disassembly, reassembly, calibration, lubrication, and critical adjustments.
  • Follow all applicable codes, regulations, OEM standards, and reliability best practices.
  • Uphold and apply all safety standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, HVAC, hydraulics, machining, and mechanical theory.
  • Communicate effectively, manage multiple priorities, use computer systems confidently, and maintain strong attention to detail.
