As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and support to ensure effective execution of equipment maintenance strategies. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement and implement enhancements to maintenance and reliability strategies. Other duties include: Support the coordination and planning of major outages to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution. Drive the implementation of new maintenance procedures, technologies, and best practices to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Lead maintenance strategy improvement initiatives, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA/RCFA) and other continuous improvement efforts. Optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs for reliability and cost efficiency. Lead predictive maintenance (PdM) activities to enhance asset health monitoring. Champion the commitment to achieving Zero Harm through behavioral-based safety practices, including SAO, JSA, Take 5's, stretching, and compliance with all safety rules. Ensure alignment with Company HSE standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Implement Mechanical Reliability and Mechanical Integrity programs within the assigned area of responsibility. Collaborate with HSE representatives and regulatory agencies to maintain environmental and safety compliance Ensure plant compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements. Prepare, review, and communicate required reports, inspections, and audits. Act as the Maintenance Manager when required, ensuring operational continuity and leadership coverage. Be available for overtime and on-call responsibilities as operational needs arise.
