Do you like working behind the scenes while keeping a large facility running? The Office of Building and Mechanical Services provides mechanical, building and grounds maintenance and electronic security for state-owned buildings. The Division of Mechanical Services is comprised of HVAC technicians, licensed electricians, licensed plumbers, boiler and chiller technicians, electronic security technicians and mechanics. The Mechanical Maintenance and Operations Tech II is responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, operation, installation and replacement of boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, electrical and plumbing of Finance Cabinet owned buildings. This position will provide coverage for the Mechanical Maintenance and Operations Supervisor in his/her absence. You will provide assistance to engineers and contractors with Capital Construction Projects. This position will also maintain equipment related records, work orders, purchase orders, and maintenance history.
