The Mechanical Machine Assembler’s primary function is to precisely assemble mechanical components and systems.

Requirements

Must be able to read/write.
Must be able to read/write drawings and wiring diagrams in English.
Must be able to use wire cutters, crimpers, screw drivers, & electric drills.
Must be able to operate an electrical wire soldering tool.
Must be able to work 10 hours days 4 days a week.
Must be able to work OT.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
High School Diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 1-2 years manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience.
Must be in good physical condition.
Must have good eye/hand coordination.
Must be able to lift up 20 lbs. routinely.
Must be able to sit stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
Use of one or both feet or legs to move controls on machinery or equipment. Controls include, but are not limited to, pedals, buttons, levers, and cranks.
Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s). Note: Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand to hold or operate a tool such as pliers.

Responsibilities

Assemble parts, pieces and/or products using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures in an area of production in a manufacturing environment.
Ensure that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product.
Use various equipment to join, fasten, and connect parts.
Handle electrical wiring tasks, including connecting motors, control panels, sensors, and switches.
Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections.
Record daily production and maintain production quotas on Duro Dyne forms.
Maintain records of assembly activities, including documenting any modifications, defects, or adjustments made during the assembly process.
Load all raw materials as needed.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues that arise during the assembly process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
