Ahern is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Service Technician to fulfill service work with customers in the Stevens Point and surrounding areas. In this role, you will troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues, conduct preventative maintenance on chillers, rooftop units, air handling units, hot water pumps, boilers, burners, and perform combustion tuning. Be on a rotating on-call schedule. In this role, you will service a wide variety of industries, including heavy industrial, commercial, schools, healthcare, and food plants. Your employment relationship will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement. Requirements

Mechanical HVAC Service Technician with 5+ years of experience, ideally working on owner-direct service work
universal Refrigerant certification
clean driving record to operate company vehicles
be able to travel for the position
pass an appropriate drug screen and physical (the job entails a great deal of lifting and climbing)
self-starters
strong mechanical background
good working and learning attitude
be able to work in a fast-paced construction environment (both in and outdoors)
