You will use the fundamental principles of mechanical, electrical, industrial, or other engineering disciplines to support the design, evaluation, and improvement of new products as well as existing components and/or systems.

Requirements

  • Being enrolled in a bachelor's or advanced degree program in a related engineering field such as:
  • Mechanical Engineering.
  • Ability to work effectively in a variety of engineering assignments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Updating CMMs for FSD E and leading a Kaizen to standardize R Card data entry.
  • Witnessing jobs and participating in disassembly, inspection, and assembly of fuel pumps, they translate hands-on learning into clear, compliant technical documentation-strengthening technical writing, configuration control, and regulatory awareness.
  • Facilitating a cross-functional Kaizen further develops leadership, confidence, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills while driving standard work and data integrity
  • Acquiring knowledge of various engineering department's operations, functions, responsibilities, and workflow.
  • Observing work assignments performed by others and actively participate in hands-on projects and/or special assignments.
  • Using engineering skills to conduct analysis and modeling, engage in product design, develop and execute testing procedures, and participate in facilities engineering work.
  • Maintaining communication with program coach/mentor to provide feedback on departmental assignments and program improvements.
  • Attending related training and applying it in work assignments.
  • Performing other related responsibilities.
