Lockheed Martin Space in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern for the Space Science and Instrumentation Team. In this role, you will contribute to the integration and test of the MUSE SmallSat Spacecraft Bus. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, and a demonstrated ability to conceptualize, develop, and implement solutions. Must be a US Citizen.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in and at least 2 years into in Mechanical Engineering program or related degree from an accredited university.
Understanding of mechanical engineering principals.
Proficiency with CAD and MatLab
Word, PowerPoint, & Excel computer skills.
Must be a US Citizen.
