About The Position
Engineering Intern - NTA Interns are requested to assist the Nu-Torque Engineering Team in completing assignments related to Assembly and Test of Actuators, as well as supporting Qualification Testing for actuation development programs. Pay Rate: $20 - $22 Location: East Farmingdale, NY Your Challenge: Test Procedure and Test Report Generation Qualification Test support Design/fabrication of fixture components/assemblies Tool database organization/upgrade Assembly and Test procedure creation and updates Drawing creation and maintenance Able to work independently with minimum supervision Ability to problem solve and apply critical thinking skills Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- US Citizen (only)
- Computer database experience
- Currently working towards/graduated from a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of NX Unigraphics and/or Solidworks is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
