We are currently seeking a summer intern to join the Mechanical engineering team for FBM Reentry at our site in Littleton, Colorado. In this role you will: Support the mechanical design team by performing tasks such as design, and development support for aerospace structures and generate detailed design of primary and secondary structures. Create CAD models, interface drawings, and detailed build-to-print drawings, release drawings/models to engineering configuration control vault, and perform varied tasks with direction from a senior lead engineer Research, plan, design and develop mechanical and/or electro-mechanical systems for flight as well as ground systems

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in mechanical, Aero, Systems and/or similar degree.
  • Experience designing parts in CAD software
  • Working in a team environment
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
  • CAD Software (Creo, Solidworks, NX., etc)
  • Working in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Creo Experience
  • EPDM experience.
