About The Position
Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern. The hourly rate for this position is $15.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: Support manufacturing process improvements and automation initiatives in a production environment. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities to improve run‑rate performance, reduce scrap, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.

- Identify and implement opportunities to improve run‑rate performance, reduce scrap, and increase manufacturing efficiency.
- Support process improvement initiatives using data analysis and continuous improvement methods.
- Assist with robotics systems including troubleshooting, programming support, and automation integration.
- Participate in the design, testing, and launch of new manufacturing cells.
- Support in plant implementation activities and production readiness efforts.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
