Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Learn Afinitas drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances Create manufacturing drawings for equipment Create and complete bills of material for equipment Evaluate and implement design changes Learn Afinitas manufacturing processes Work with manufacturing on build processes and improvement Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office software effectively Prepare and deliver a presentation at end of internship QUALIFICATIONS College Sophomore enrolled in Engineering that has had a previous internship with Afinitas College Junior or Senior enrolled in Engineering that has had a previous internship in a relevant field Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt to shifting priorities Attention to detail WORK ENVIRONMENT Β· This is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the manufacturing area.
