More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Mechanical Engineering Intern joining our Connected Building Team at our Peachtree City, Georgia location with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. The internship program is from February 2 - May 22, 2026 As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will collaborate closely with the New Product Introduction project team to build and review samples, work on (BOM) Bill of Materials details, and interact with a cross-functional team to support Connected Building NPI launches.

Requirements

  • Currently in pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Demonstrate basic mechanical design approaches and capabilities
  • Have basic knowledge of various material and their structural and thermal properties
  • Excellent communication, organizational and people skills and the ability to work across functional groups
  • Ability to articulate and promote Engineering best-practices.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
