About The Position

As our Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will provide support for Design and Product Engineering tasks and projects in a team environment to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of these activities to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge and understanding of stress analysis.
• Basic familiarity with engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
• Strong verbal and technical writing skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Pro/E Creo CAD software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate hardware discrepancies to contract requirements and design integrity with the intent of determining proper technical disposition and justification to customer.
• Generate and maintain computer models and drawings of component parts and assemblies.
• Interface with customers, engineers, and other functional departments in support of engineering department objectives.
• Other engineering tasks and responsibilities as required.
