About The Position

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer Co-op to support and collaborate with the Mechanical Engineering R&D Group, which is responsible for developing our Semiconductor Test Systems. As a member of the Mechanical Engineering Group, the Mechanical Engineer Co-op will have a hand in many ongoing projects, design complex subsystems and will partner with senior engineering staff to deliver results. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the installed base of existing Semiconductor Test platforms.

Requirements

Must be at least in second year of school (ideally third or fourth year), working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering or, Electromechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
Excited about mechanical engineering and having positive attitude
Enjoys hands on approach toward engineering
Ability to quickly learn and apply new information
Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks part creation, drawings, and large assemblies
Knowledge of drafting and design standards (ANSI Y14.5 GD & T)
Understanding of design for assembly and manufacturing (DFA and DFM principles)
Knowledge of measurement systems and techniques
