About The Position

This specific position is for an entry-level mechanical engineer within CMTA's Energy Solutions division, located in Media, PA. The Energy Solutions division is the fastest-growing segment of the company. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who enjoys assisting clients and possesses the technical background to participate in and lead all project phases. While the role is within the performance contracting division, engineers with strong HVAC design and commissioning experience are encouraged to apply, as they can readily transition into an energy engineer role within the Energy Solutions group. The entry-level engineer will work closely with and support the project manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm is preferred.
  • Must have undergrad degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
  • Minimum GPA: 3.39
  • Current work authorization in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct building and system audits
  • Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations
  • Write reports on various aspects of the project
  • Attend meeting with the Project Manager and the clients
  • Other duties as assigned
