About The Position

Radiance is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to advance signature production and analysis for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This role involves performing production tasks using established processes and techniques, including 3D CAD development of aerospace systems, data analysis, exploitation, and dissemination. The engineer will utilize 3D models to develop radar signature products such as RCS, High Range Resolution (HRR), Synthetic-Aperture Radar (SAR), and scattering center data. Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or other related STEM degree
  • Ability to use CAD/Solid Modeling software, such as Solidworks or Rhinocerous
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in 3D Modeling
  • Working knowledge of aerospace structures, materials, and components
  • Experience with Rhino3D, Linux, Xpatch, SENTRi, and Matlab
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practice
  • Active TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

  • Generate 3D CAD models using photogrammetric techniques
  • Generate RF signatures in accordance with well-established production processes
  • Provide input to analysis reports and briefings
  • Produce reports on signature production results
