About The Position

This is hands-on, full-lifecycle engineering. You won’t be boxed into one piece of the process—you’ll be involved from early concepts all the way through production and continuous improvement. Here’s what that looks like: Designing across sheet metal, weldments, structures, and powertrain systems Bringing ideas from concept → prototype → production → real-world application Working directly with manufacturing to ensure designs are practical and scalable Continuously improving products based on testing, feedback, and performance Balancing performance, cost, durability, and manufacturability in every decision You’re not just designing parts—you’re shaping products that are actively changing the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on product design experience
  • Strong SolidWorks skills (PDM experience is a plus)
  • Experience with: Sheet metal and weldments Structural design and vibration Mechanical linkages and assemblies Powertrain systems
  • Ability to take a design from concept through production
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Clear communication—especially when working cross-functionally

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with outdoor power equipment, robotics, construction equipment, or similar
  • Familiarity with FEA, vibration analysis, or CFD
  • Project management skills with a strong understanding of how projects move from concept through production
  • A holistic understanding of product delivery—ensuring designs are practical, manufacturable, and meet customer expectations

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and new product features
  • Create SolidWorks models and drawings that translate cleanly to production
  • Improve existing designs for performance, durability, and cost efficiency
  • Apply engineering expertise across powertrain, structural systems, vibration, and mechanical linkages
  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation—and refine designs based on results
  • Lead or contribute to design reviews with clear, practical input
  • Partner with manufacturing and suppliers to bring designs to life
  • Drive continuous product improvement through structured problem-solving and iteration
  • Maintain clear, usable technical documentation

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
