About The Position

Works independently with little supervision. Create new procedures and BKMs for automated service solutions. Support Apps lab demos of chamber applications and resolve or escalate issues to Engineering. Collaborate with OEMs to address technical problems and create new solutions. Collaborate with partner business units to gather process and qualification data to assess the effectiveness of automated services and support Design for Automated Service (DfAS) principles in new chamber designs. Create initial training materials for new products and collaborate with Global Technical Training to design classes. Train Customer Engineers and Technical Product Support for customers receiving ELS units before shipment. Onsite support during customer evaluations may be necessary. Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines. Demonstrates an understanding of best practices and how their area of expertise aligns with other departments; maintains awareness of competitors and the elements that distinguish them within the marketplace. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience may lead small to medium projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Works independently without supervision. Clarifies complex or sensitive topics; fosters consensus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Requires 6-10 years of experience.
  • Product support experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in the semiconductor equipment industry is preferred
