About The Position
Mechanical Engineer Intern - Communications - Summer 2026 OTTO’s opportunity: OTTO Communications designs and manufactures innovative two-way radio products for demanding and mission-critical applications. For over 60 years, OTTO’s products have been recognized for excellence by the military, law enforcement, public safety agencies, and retail and commercial customers worldwide. We are looking for an enthusiastic mechanical engineering student to perform a variety of duties to support the Engineering team for the Communications Division. Specifically, the Mechanical Engineer Intern will:
Requirements
- Enrolled in a mechanical engineering program – going into junior or senior year
- 3D Solid Modeling experience
- A strong desire to learn
- Good communication skills
- 100% on-site
Responsibilities
- Create and / or revise 3D models or 2D drawings using CREO
- Create Bills of Material
- Create Engineering Change Notices
- Assist with other related duties as required or assigned
