Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar fields.
  • Proficient with Solidworks.
  • Basic understanding of fundamentals of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
  • Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with various designs for manufacturing like sheet metal, injection molding, stamping, etc. is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a team of multidisciplinary Engineers and Research Scientists using an AI-first approach to enable safe self-driving at scale.
  • Assist in the design and analysis of mechanical systems and components.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support engineering projects.
  • Create and modify engineering drawings using CAD software.
  • Participate in testing and validation of prototypes.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues.
  • Document findings and prepare engineering reviews.
