About The Position

Provisur is committed to developing top college students and exposing them to different areas of work within our Engineering departments. Through our internship program, we offer students the opportunity to take theory taught in the classroom and apply it in the workplace. The level of difficulty of the work assignment will correspond to the student’s educational level.
Program Objective:
A Mechanical intern at Provisur Technologies is primarily responsible for providing support to engineers in a variety of capacities depending on the group for which the intern is working. An intern would be expected to learn basic shop, CAD, machine design and engineering practices and would use established procedures to perform basic engineering tasks on small projects or tasks of large projects under the direct supervision of an engineer. Depending on the engineering group, the student intern may provide support through performing documentation functions, engineering calculations, data collections and/or analysis, prototyping, testing and assisting in design and detailing.

Requirements

• Be a full-time student in an accredited educational institution.
• Have a technical aptitude, be detail oriented and organized.
• Understand basic mechanical/electrical engineering principles.
• Be a Mechanical Engineering student with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 out of 4.0.

Responsibilities
