This full-time, paid internship is located on-site in Rogers, Minnesota. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working with a manager and mentor to complete a project from start to finish during the summer. Plus, with flexible start and end dates, you can tailor the experience to your schedule. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers to provide robust mechanical design and technical support of NSI products and components throughout product lifecycle.
  • Analyze and have input to complex machine designs incorporating motion control systems, robotics, and part handling in accordance with product requirements.
  • Design assemblies and components using SolidWorks.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and bills of materials for the fabrication and assembly of equipment.
  • Provide analysis of drive systems, structural assemblies and sub-components using basic calculation methods and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Interface with manufacturing to support product assembly, testing, troubleshooting and installation.
  • Interface with project/product management to ensure projects meet schedule and delivery requirements.
  • Develop working knowledge of X-ray and NDT techniques through NSI technical experts and practical application.
  • Lead and participate in design reviews for minor designs with cross functional teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with a cross functional team of software, controls, and NDT engineers to develop innovative solutions
