About The Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to support the design, development, and integration of advanced automation equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on precision mechanical design, system integration, and performance optimization to support high-quality, reliable production processes. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for candidates with strong experience in manufacturing equipment design and automation systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering environments
• Experience in design and installation of production equipment
• Strong foundation in mechanical and automation engineering principles
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)
• Experience designing automation systems, fixtures, and material handling equipment
• Knowledge of motion control systems and precision engineering applications
• Understanding of heat transfer principles and thermal system applications
• Experience with system-level troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail, especially in precision-driven environments

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, fixtures, and systems for automation equipment
• Utilize CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) to create detailed models and drawings
• Support the integration of mechanical systems into manufacturing processes
• Apply knowledge of motion control systems (servo motors, stepper motors, linear actuators) to develop high-precision solutions
• Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Perform simulations and data analysis to validate designs and improve system reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including: Design specifications Technical reports Validation and testing protocols
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry requirements
