The Mechanical Engineer will design and engineer HVAC and mechanical utility systems for new buildings, renovations, additions, and process facilities. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to manage multiple complex tasks, set priorities, and lead others effectively. The position oversees the mechanical discipline scope of work, manages discipline budgets for small to medium projects of intermediate complexity, and coordinates with internal and external architects, engineers, clients, construction managers, subcontractors, vendors, and manufacturers. Key deliverables include: Load calculations, utility assessments, energy modeling, design reports, and code evaluations Plans, P&IDs, schedules, installation details, and equipment/system selection and specification Coordination with manufacturers and trade partners Use of BIM software, CAD tools, and engineering calculation platforms Project work spans all design phases: studies, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
