Job Summary Perform engineering change process ECO Perform drafting, tolerance analysis including GD&T, and create solid models using SolidWorks Conduct FEA and conventional hand-cal stress analysis Perform development testing Support production sustaining engineering tasks such as NCR, MRB, and suppliers’ technical inquiries Perform detail design for precision electro-mechanical devices Perform component and system level risk and reliability analysis such as FMEA & Fault Tree Perform continuous improvement and Lean initiative projects Perform tool design Write process specification and test document Perform product and process safety assessment Impact of the Role General Profile Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline Performs routine assignments using existing procedures Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles Entry level to a professional career progression Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment Essential Functions Applies engineering techniques to design, install, modify, analyze, repair and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Confers with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information. Researches and analyzes customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. Specifies system components or directs modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Investigates equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 0-3 years' experience
  • Engineering degree required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering change process ECO
