We’re searching for a Mechanical Engineer | Automation & Fixture Design who loves solving problems, building better processes, and creating tools that unlock new levels of efficiency and quality. This role sits at the intersection of design and manufacturing, blending mechanical engineering with automation thinking and hands-on craftsmanship. As part of our Process Engineering team, you will modernize legacy processes, design custom automation fixtures, and collaborate closely with machining and production teams to bring smart solutions to life. Your work directly strengthens throughput, repeatability, and the everyday experience of team members across our manufacturing operations.

  • Design automation fixtures, tooling, and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks
  • Build detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturable drawings
  • Program and support CNC machining operations using Mastercam
  • Use 3D printing to produce complex fixture concepts and components
  • Partner with machinists, fabricators, and production teams to ensure practical, cost-effective designs
  • Participate in hands-on fabrication, assembly, and testing of fixtures and automation solutions
  • Lead small to medium-sized projects from concept through implementation
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities that increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve consistency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
  • 2 to 5 years of mechanical design and automation fixture experience
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks
  • Experience with Mastercam or equivalent CAD/CAM software
  • Hands-on experience with CNC mills, CNC routers, and 3D printing
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience creating fixtures in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to robotics, sensors, and automation components
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement or lean initiatives
