Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science
  • Strong foundation in engineering principles, mathematics, and physics.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, MATLAB or C++.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and prototyping of mechanical and electrical components for unmanned systems and sensor payloads using CAD software and other design tools.
  • Support the integration of hardware and software components, including sensors, communication systems, and control systems, into unmanned platforms.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of system tests, both in laboratory and real-world environments, to verify system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with unmanned systems and sensors.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of system components as needed.
  • Collect and analyze data from system tests and in-field operations to evaluate performance and inform future design iterations.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and operational procedures.
