Mechanical Draftsman Receive and interpret design inputs (sketches, verbal/written descriptions, conceptual CAD) from senior personnel. Develop detailed calculations, layouts, and part drawings based on general design outlines. Design less‑complex mechanical units (e.g., chassis, component layouts) while considering economical manufacturing methods. Produce and release accurate engineering drawings. Generate part lists and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Maintain design documentation using CAD tools and Product Data Management (PDM) systems. Ensure all work complies with applicable standards, company practices, and project specifications. Conduct self‑checks and peer reviews to verify the accuracy of drafts and calculations. Assist in updating and revising drawings based on Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and feedback. Support senior engineers with miscellaneous drafting tasks as required. Requirements

  • Graduated from an associate or higher degree in mechanical design/drafting or a related field
  • Coursework or Experience in 2D and 3D CAD design and software

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 standards
  • Experience in 2D and 3D CAD design using PTC Creo
  • Experience in 2D design using AutoCAD
  • Experience maintaining datasets using PTC Windchill
  • Experience in 2D and 3D drafting checking and verification
